The Power of a Legacy

The Questors Theatre was built on the vision and generosity of those who came before us. Today, as a charity, legacies are a crucial source of funding, allowing us to undertake major building renovations, invest in new technical equipment and provide scholarships for the next generation of theatre-makers.

If you have already included The Questors Theatre in your will, please do let us know. We would love the opportunity to thank you during your lifetime and keep you updated on the future you are helping to build. While we like to publicly thank our donors, we are also happy to maintain the privacy of those who wish to remain anonymous.

A Personal Conversation

We understand that leaving a legacy is a deeply personal decision. If you have specific ideas of how you would like your gift to be used, or if you would like to visit the theatre to see the impact of recent legacies, please contact our the Questors Theatre Office on 020 8567 0011 or email office@questors.org.uk.

Alternatively, the Trustees of The Questors Theatre will ensure that your gift is put to the best possible use.

 

WAYS TO GIVE:

1. A Share of your Estate

Also known as a Residual Legacy. Once you have provided for your loved ones, you leave a percentage of what remains to The Questors Theatre.

2. A Fixed Sum

Known as a Pecuniary Gift, this determines a specific sum of money designated in your will to be left to The Questors Theatre.

3. A Specific Item

Some members choose to leave specific assets, such as property or shares, to the theatre.

Key Information for your Solicitor

If you already have a will and would like to include a gift to The Questors Theatre, you can make a straightforward and inexpensive amendment, or codicil, through a solicitor.

If you have yet to write a will, Free Wills Month runs twice a year (March and October) where local solicitors volunteer time to write simple wills that contain a charitable legacy.
