The Departments
BE PART OF OUR WARM WELCOME
Every production needs an audience, and every audience needs great customer service. There are roles for everyone in:
BOX OFFICE
Looking after ticket sales by phone and in-person, and helping audience members with queries. If you are confident working with computers and the public, we offer training and ask for just a 2-3 hour per week time commitment.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Each performance has a professional Duty Manager in charge of the smooth running of operations, and a team of volunteer Stewards to show the audience to their seat and help with any problems. All members are encouraged to steward shows.
GRAPEVINE BAR
Our bar is a members club, not just for our members but run by them. It’s managed by its own committee and staffed by volunteers from our membership. The bar is happy to provide training and are always looking for new recruits.
No experience is required. We will provide the necessary training and briefing for all roles. A friendly smile and a great attitude are all that is required.
You can volunteer as much or as little time as you like. Many of our members fit theatre work around full-time jobs.
We encourage members to try out different groups and learn new skills. Volunteering to work front of house is a great way to meet people and a simple way to give your time.
All Questors Members must be over 18, including those volunteering in The Grapevine Bar. For Under 18s, join our Youth Theatre for opportunities to get involved elsewhere in the theatre.
