There is no doubt in mind that without The Questors Theatre, I wouldn’t have had a professional career as an actor. Questors is a beacon of light for those in the community (like myself at 18) looking for a way to gain experience and learn the tools needed to begin their journey in the arts.

My career in theatre began at Questors and if you’re looking to get involved in community theatre then you need look no further than Questors. It is an incredible community resource offering unique opportunities and excellent facilities for actors young and old. It’s a vibrant organisation with so many passionate and hardworking members. I remember my time there very fondly indeed.

My time with Questors formed me not only as an actor but as an adult. It was one of those times that one realises in hindsight was profoundly affecting and I will be forever grateful for the experience. A casual and encouraging conversation in the bar one evening resulted in my applying for a drama course at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School… the beginning of a new adventure and the rest of my life. Thank you, Questors Theatre.

Questors Theatre has been in my life since 1985. It is simply one of the best communities to be involved with. The dedication and hard work of all people involved which results in fantastic performances is inspirational.

The Questors is an amazing place, with so many dedicated creatives putting on so many shows – the youth theatre helped me become more confident and I made some great friends there too!
