Experienced actors can apply to join our acting company through our monthly auditions. With 18 productions a year, you’ll receive frequent casting calls and the opportunity to take part in a wide range of productions. If you’re at the start of your theatre journey, we can support you through courses and production experience.
The Questors Theatre works with experienced directors, from large-scale productions in The Playhouse to experimental contemporary pieces in The Studio. There are also occasional opportunities to shadow a director as an assistant director. Our 18 annual in-house productions are supported by our skilled wardrobe, set design, technical and stage management volunteers, and have access to an incredible built-in pool of acting talent.
Create, compose and collaborate with QExtra, the home for new writing and more. We help playwrights and other theatre-makers develop new work and explore theatrical approaches, connecting them with actors and directors and encouraging them to experiment in a working theatre through open mic nights, new play readings, workshops, recitals and other member-led events.
