About the drama:
The play follows Ah Kiu and Ah Ching, two siblings growing up under their mother's strict expectations. Ah Kiu dreams of becoming a train driver but is forced to study law, while Ah Ching struggles to adapt to life in the UK and secretly wants to return to Hong Kong. Their mother, believing she knows what’s best, resists their choices.
However, when mother loses her job and discovers her husband’s infidelity, she experiences a deep emotional reckoning. As she reflects, she realizes she has been controlling her children’s futures rather than supporting their true passions. In the end, she learns to let go, allowing Ah Kiu and Ah Ching to pursue their dreams on their own terms.
