QExtraQextra The Next Stage continues its Playwrights Appreciation Group Endeavour...
A celebration of established and new playwrights with a showcase of excerpts of new writing being developed under the Qextra banner.
From students to senior writers, audiences are invited to this open workshop performance and given the chance to work as on the spot dramaturgs, collaborators, critics, aspirant directors and impromptu cast, as we take in a range of styles and sensibilities in search of a common approach. In this way it is hoped to make Qextra a place where new plays flourish, parented by those creating, interpreting and receiving.
