Thanks to all our wonderful supporters, we have achieved our fundraising target of £50,000 which will be kindly matched by our anonymous donor to a total of £100,000!
Alongside all the generous donations on our Crowdfunder page, we have also received over £20,000 in direct donations and bucket collections at the theatre.
All these funds will go towards our roof repairs, and we are delighted to announce that the first phase of roof works is now finished!
That means that our Studio, Shaw Room, awning and Studio-side stairwell are all now water-tight and rain-proof in time for the winter. (It also means our whole car park is once again available for visitors.)
There is still another phase of roof works needed, including an extensive repair of our Workshop roof, which we hope to carry out next Summer.
Our Crowdfunder will remain open for donations even though we have hit our target – all funds received will go towards roof and building repairs but just will not be matched. If you intended to donate, you can still do so on Crowdfunder or through the donation page of this site or at our Box Office.
