Potonja ura Njegoševa is a powerful monodrama portraying the final hours of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, one of Montenegro’s most celebrated poets, philosophers and historical figures.
Through an intimate and emotional performance, the play reflects on Njegoš’s life, his poetry, his homeland and the questions of life, death and legacy.
The monodrama is performed by acclaimed Montenegrin actor Slobodan Marunović.
At the end of the performance, musician Nebojša Zloporubović – Zlopi will accompany the actor on guitar for a special musical finale featuring a selection of poems set to music.
