Welcome to The Questors Theatre in Ealing, London

Here you can watch new and popular plays every week. We deliver a full season of professional-quality productions - and provide a performance venue for touring theatre companies.

Anyone can get involved - become a Questors member and take part in everything from acting and directing to lighting, front of house and stage design.

We also deliver theatre training for all ages - find out about our Academy and Youth Theatre.

There's lots of reasons to discover The Questors:

  • You'll enjoy our theatre. We perform in our own high-quality theatre venue - with our 350-seat Judi Dench Playhouse and 90-seat Studio theatre.
  • You'll enjoy our plays. Every year we stage a season of 15-20 plays, from modern dramas and comedies to classics of British and world theatre.
  • You'll enjoy our high quality. We're a member of the Society of Independent Theatres and one of the biggest drama groups in London.
  • You'll enjoy our friendliness. Our front of house team are all Questors members, and our Grapevine bar features in the Good Beer Guide and was recognised by CAMRA.

Our weekly schedule of events, projects and activities

We might not be at our lovely premises in Ealing for now, but that won't stop us from bringing you lots of fun things to see and do during the lockdown period!

Please see below for our weekly schedule, to be updated with more information.

Monday Musings: looking back on our archives. Images from past shows are posted across our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Bridging the Gap. This project helps to bring people together during lockdown. You can submit what you’ve been up to throughout the week to socialmedia@questors.org.uk. Submissions we receive are posted each Tuesday on our socials and website, with a highlight chosen.

Bridging the Gap QYT. Activities for children and members of QYT are posted on the QYT section of our website. Please send in your work to laura@questors.org.uk and we will provide you with free feedback.
QLive Workshops at 5:30pm on our Instagram. We will have a series of 30-min masterclasses going out live on our Instagram, one per week, on different topics led by different people. The third is on poetry with Ella Dorman-Gajic, Wednesday 29th May at 5:30pm. Click HERE for more info!

Our weekly newsletter is sent out to anyone signed up to it. Sign up to it HERE.

Scenes in Solitude. We are putting together a programme of recorded pieces written, directed and acted by our members, starting with short monologues. These videos will then be posted on our socials as well as YouTube. The first is The Last Post by John Barron. A jittery astronaut documents his time in space in a video diary, when he discovers he is not as secluded as he seems… Video to be released on our YouTube channel on Friday 22nd May!

Saturday and Sunday

Any other activities we have over the weekend will be posted here. Watch this space!
