You can't expect to be old and wise if you were never young and crazy
Things get nasty in this darkly comic tale of two rival nightclub gangs who both want a piece of the same pie – an up-and-coming rock ‘n’ roll prodigy named Silver Johnny.
It’s the summer of 1958 and rock 'n' roll is kicking off in London’s Soho. Ezra, the owner of the Atlantic club, has plucked a young Silver Johnny from obscurity and now girls are queuing around the block to see him perform. But a lucrative act like this soon gets the attention of Sam Ross – a rival nightclub owner and gangster.
When Ezra is found sawn in half inside two dustbins and Silver Johnny goes missing, his motley crew of employees start to get unnerved. What’s going to happen to Sweets, Potts, Skinny and Mickey now? And who’s going to tell Ezra’ son, the slightly disturbed Baby?
