The Prime Minister is dead.
As her child Hamlet tries to navigate her grief, her sister Gertrude rises through the party ranks, marrying Hamlet’s father Claudius and causing a rift amongst the family and MPs of the House.
Hamlet, convinced Gertrude is behind the death and haunted by the figure of her mother, falls into mental disarray. Ophelia, secret lover of Hamlet, daughter of the Chancellor Polonius and an MP in her own right, becomes disillusioned with politics and seeks an exit.
With an election on the horizon, plots unravel, chaos ensues, and the calculating underbelly of the political sphere shows itself in colourful and devastating ways. Expect classic Spambo Twists and engaging physical performances.
