July, the performance of The Importance of Being Earnest in the
Playhouse is cancelled. This is due to the Government advice relating to the Red Alert for extreme temperatures. People who had booked for this show are being contacted
by Box Office this afternoon and will be offered the option of moving their

To mark 76 years since the Questors Student Group was founded, we bring you
the most highy acclaimed of Oscar Wilde's classics, The Importance of Being Earnest.
Wilde's comic tale follows bachelors Algernon Moncrieff and Jack Worthing as they create alter egos to escape their tedious existence. In an attempt to win the hearts of two young women, they soon get caught up in their own deceit, where the layers of mistaken identity confuse and bewilder all involved.
Featuring some of Wilde's most memorable and eccentric characters, this delightful mockery of Victorian sensibilities has plenty of twists and turns, throwing love, logic and language into the air.
The Importance of Being Earnest will be performed by The Questors 74th Student Group.
Running time: Approx. 2hrs
