Welcome to The Questors Theatre in Ealing, London

Here you can watch new and popular plays every week. We deliver a full season of professional-quality productions and provide a performance venue for touring theatre companies. Anyone can get involved; become a Questors member and take part in everything from acting and directing to lighting, front of house and stage design. One doctor’s diagnosis is another’s outlandish theory

Christopher is a young black patient confined to a psychiatric ward. He is due for release and wants to go home. The problem is that he thinks oranges are blue and that his doctor wants to section him.

The senior consultant believes it’s all a matter of culture and Christopher will be better off at home with “people who are just like him”. But are things so black and white? Should he stay or should he go?

This scathing yet comical tale challenges our pre-conceptions about race, mental illness, and the place of the NHS in Britain today.
