In a run down backstreet of a Tokyo market, a storyteller struggles to sell his stories. Facing competition from the other stall holders, he is left alone to remind himself of some of his favourite stories.
As he tells the stories, they come to life around him amid the hustle and bustle of the market.
The stories unfold, but is there another more elusive story? Or - more especially - where is it?
Against a soundscape of Asian jazz music, four actors and a story teller use physical movement to animate the varied tales, which include a haunted kimono, a snow demon and a ghostly farmer, among others.
