Led by the head of QExtra and director of our Pinter double bill of The Lover and A Slight Ache, this workshop is aimed at students, writers, directors and actors, and all those keen to learn and know more about modern theatre’s most influential playwright.
Featuring readings from the poetry and plays, textual analysis and the active participation of the audience, attendees will be guided through the challenges of style, interpretation and linguistic approaches that will allow greater appreciation of the double bill as performed while also hopefully forming a lasting engagement with the Pinter canon.
No playwright before or after Pinter has operated with quite the same level of skill, poetry or command, so this 2-hour session has been designed to instill a growing sense of respect for what plays can be and what they can achieve.
Relive the world by listening to what language can do.
