Laila Samy — Egyptian-British multidisciplinary artist — invites your little ones into a world of Arabic stories and songs.
She’ll share original stories she’s written herself, alongside children’s songs from the cherished repertoire of Ratiba El-Hefny's Children’s Choir — an Egyptian institution that brought Arabic music to young voices at the Cairo Opera House in the 1990s. A piece of cultural history, lovingly brought back to life.
This event also marks the official launch of Laila’s Arabic Children’s Choir (Dandana), beginning in June & July and returning in September — a joyful space where young voices can grow, play, and connect with their Arabic roots through music.
Suitable for children.
