Felipe considers himself a bit old school, in the best possible way, while Sophia has tried her best to dump the past and make her living online. But for one night they are thrown together, seemingly with nothing in common except their desperation, anger, and sudden isolation. They don’t even have any cash, will the sparks fly, or can they find some common ground? On this dark night of the soul, where will they be when the sun comes up?
Angry, funny, touching and intriguing, this is a play pits two strangers together who collide into each other’s world – no apps, no mates, no safety net – just each other as they walk across London. Wild Creatures explores modern adult relationships, in our accelerating age of social media, AI, influencers and cancel culture. Do we need any of it? Could we get along without it, or have we lost the knack?
