Here you can watch new and popular plays every week. We deliver a full season of professional-quality productions and provide a performance venue for touring theatre companies. Anyone can get involved; become a Questors member and take part in everything from acting and directing to lighting, front of house and stage design. We also deliver theatre training for all ages; find out about our Academy and Youth Theatre.

Lights. Camera. Action! 

In this week long intensive course, you will be diving head first into the subtle art of acting on screen. This course is perfect for those who are looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of screen acting technique and practice performing in front of the camera. 

You will also be learning insight into how to prepare for a Self-Tape audition; how to film, format and send with the chance to ask any burning questions about the acting industry in a Q&A with the tutor Jess Balmer. 

We will be learning:
- How to break down a script.
- Understanding characters.
- What are the differences between screen and stage acting.
- Practicing performing on camera.
- What is a Self-Tape Audition.
- How to film a Self-Tape Audition.

What you will need to bring for the course:
- A phone which you are able to film on.
- A note book, pens and a highlighter.
- Water bottle.

The course to conclude in a sharing where participants will perform their scenes which will be filmed for parents and guardians to watch their screen acting live in action.

Dates: Monday 7th April - Friday 11th April
Time: 10am - 4pm
£185 (£135 concessions*)
