Questors AcademyLooking to enhance and develop your stage presence?
Movement for Actors & Directors Course will introduce you to:
Movement for Actors and Directors is a short course for anyone interested in developing their physical skills and using movement in theatrical contexts as either a performer or director. We will explore different ways in which to use movement and physical theatre to create meaning, tell stories and develop characters, drawing from the work of practitioners such as Anne Bogart and Tina Landau's Viewpoints, Lecoq's levels of tensions, Laban's efforts and Stanislavski's circles of attention.
Please note this is not a dance or singing class but will involve moving around the space so please wear clothes and footwear you feel comfortable moving in and participants are encouraged to bring any instruments they play to the sessions.
