The Grapevine Autumn Mini Beer and Cider Festival

The 2024 Autumn Mini Beer and Cider Festival is now over, but we still have the following selection available, all at £3.80 a pint.

On now:

Three Legs Pale #3 - Pale Ale
3.7% - Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex
A classic low ABV, low bitterness pale ale – light golden in colour with a creamy mouthfeel. Cascade and Columbus bring floral and earthy citrus bitterness.

Only With Love Buster APA - American Pale Ale
4.7% - Uckfield, East Sussex
Buster is the second in Only With Love's new APA special release series, this time with a whole lot of Summit, Simcoe and Chinook hops. Bags of grapefruit, a twist of tangerine, and all the lovely pine notes you'll recognise from their award-winning APAs. Suitable for vegans.

Bewdley William Mucklow's Dark Mild - Strong Mild
6.0% - Bewdley, Worcestershire
A dark, sweetish, strong ale with a smooth fruity flavour and a slight liquorice aftertaste. This beer was brewed in honour of the late William Mucklow who was the last commercial brewer in Bewdley and ceased brewing in 1912. He was reputed to have brewed a strong sweet dark mild (approx 6%+) and it was alleged to have been the second strongest mild in the country.

Broadoak KB - Dry Cider
7.5% - Clutton, Somerset
A dry, full bodied, copper coloured cider made from West Country apples including the famous Kingston Black.

All gone:

Farm Yard Holmes Stead - Best Bitter
3.4% - Cockerham, Lancashire
A classic beer made using all British hops, malt and yeast. This best bitter is all about robust malt flavours layered together with traditional English hops to achieve a bitter, sweet balance.

Stardust English Bitter - Best Bitter
4.0% - White Waltham, Berkshire
This beer is blended to bring out the very best of traditional British malt and hop flavours.  The raised malt profile unlocks notes of roasted caramel, which mingle with classic hop aromas.

New Bristol The Joy of Sesh - IPA
4.2% - St Paul's, Bristol
A session IPA packed full of flavour. A simple clean malt bill with Maris Otter and oats for that lovely mouth feel. Packed with Mosaic and Citra hops, so expect tropical, citrus, stone-fruit notes. A sessionable IPA that's a joy to brew and a true joy to drink. Gluten free and vegan friendly.

Twisted Oak Spun Gold - Golden Ale
4.5% - Wrington, Somerset
A beautiful golden ale brewed with just one malt (Maris Otter) and late hopped with Perle and Willamette. Another fantastic smooth tasting beer. Uses vegan finings.

Downlands Devils Dyke - Ruby Red Porter
5.0% - Small Dole, West Sussex
A deep ruby red, malty, chocolatey porter with a roast coffee finish made with Munich, Crystal, Chocolate and Black malts with Challenger hops. Suitable for vegans.

Mr Whitehead's Boxing Dog - Medium Cider
7.5% - Four Marks, Hampshire
A renowned strong cider made from varieties that include Cox, Russet and Worcester Pearmain. Drinkers who like “Westons Old Rosie” tend to be keen on this, as do fans of “traditional scrumpy”. Not too heavy for its strength, especially if compared to similar strength beers.
