• Sunday Lunchtimes: 1:00pm to 3:00pm

The Grapevine Story

Founded in 1959 by a dedicated group of theatre members, The Grapevine was established to serve as both a social centre and a vital source of funding for our theatrical ambitions. Over the last six decades, the bar’s direct financial contribution to supporting production costs has passed the £2 million mark.

The bar is entirely managed and run by a committee of up to 20 passionate volunteers. Every single penny generated across the counter goes right back into funding our wardrobe departments, maintaining our performance spaces, and supporting amateur theatre in West London.

On show nights, it is a bustling bar; during the week, it is the creative hub where directors plan future seasons, actors prep for auditions, and our community comes together.
