The Accrington Pals
Drama of courage and humour

As the young men of Accrington in Lancashire join up to fight in the Great War, the town’s women are left behind in the cobbled backyards, fighting their own battles with courage and humour. Slowly the layers of misinformation, anxiety and loss peel away, in a drama of shattering humanity.

Join our second-year Student Group in this superb drama, written by long-time Questors member Peter Whelan and first performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1981.
